Someone asked me today, "How's your blog going?" I shamefully replied, "I've neglected it." Well, no more! I have every intention of continuing with this blog. I know...whats the point of a blog if you're not going to update it regularly? I have excuses but thats all they are - excuses! I will have something posted by Sunday staring: Shiitake Mushrooms!

Cooking the Alphabet
I started this blog as a fun way to challenge myself to eat more vegetables and enjoy quality food. I found myself resorting too often to fast, easy and usually unhealthy food. One night, I was watching Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America and discovered that it wasn't that I didn't like vegetables, it was just I was too lazy to do something exciting with them.
I am a trained photographer and my favorite thing to photograph just happens to be food. Therefore, I combined two of my passions: photography & cooking - all into one place.
